Hi and welcome to my website! My name is Tammy and I am the primitive artist, pattern designer, and proprietor behind Rock River Stitches. I live and work in the northwest part of Illinois, right on the Iowa/Illinois border. The mighty Mississippi River separates us. My work stems from a lifelong passion for primitives and antiques. I've been a crafter my whole life.

I've been happily married for 29 years and have 2 grown daughters, one is married and gave me my first granddaughter in July of 2008. When I am not crafting, my interests are in gardening and photography. I love taking pictures of nature, especially birds and flowers.
